Newborn photography

As an add-on to my birth doula services, I offer Fresh 48 or in-home newborn photography to my doula clients, to capture your baby and your family in all their perfect, imperfect new-ness.

Fresh 48

These sessions take place 24-48 hours of your birth, at your place of birth. You’ve had a chance to take a breath, shower, and hopefully get a little rest. You are still soaking in the newness of it all. You may be inviting siblings or extended family to come meet the baby for the very first time, and want these first moments documented when you are still in the afterglow of birth. Your baby will never be this new again. I come back and check on you as your doula, and while I’m there, take photos of this special time.

In-home photography

These sessions take place at your home, 7-14 days after your birth. Your baby is still so new, but you’re feeling more recovered and just beginning to settle in to your new routines. We capture your family where it’s most comfortable - at home, the first home your baby knows outside of you.

Cost: $500 for Fresh 48, $400 for in-home newborn (add-on to doula package)
